Thought you
would enjoy the attached. Judy and I were very busy in Edinburgh.
I marched in the demonstration against the G8 at Gleneagles,
carrying the banner at the front with George Galloway, Rose Gentle, and 2004
Nobel Peace Prize winner, Wangari Maathai. Over the course of
things we met George on several occasions. He's really quite a
character. We also deepened our relationship with Rose,
the Scottish Mum whose son Gordon was killed in Iraq just a year ago.
She has become the voice for the anti-war movement over here. She is a
strong and powerful woman. Her grief and her passion inspires all of
us to work harder to end this madness and our young people home immediately.
